A week ago I headed to the airport to drop off Amanda and her beautiful baby, Layla. We got to spend 5 days together – laughing, shopping, eating (all kinds of food I hadn’t eaten in a long time), getting pedicures, and we even squeezed in a 9-month old photoshoot of Miss Layla Lou…no that’s not really her name…but that’s what I like to call her
. My kids keep asking, “When can your friend’s baby come back to stay with us?” They kind of fell in love with her. She is a DOLL!
Taking newborn pictures of this darling, brand new baby girl, made me fall in love with newborn photography all over again. She was a perfect little dream to work with! She slept like a champ, curled up perfectly, and made the sweetest sounds. I wanted to keep her….for real! She was in and out of the studio in less than two hours. A “few” of my favorites of her!

We had to work and work to get this little beauty to sleep….and stay asleep. Phew! But all of our sweat…and some of my tears (okay, not really) totally paid off. Tycee is beyond beautiful and will be loved and adored by her mommy and daddy and three older adoring brothers. Love her!

Hello! I was looking at your site because after 4.5 long years of trying, we are finally having a girl! I would love for you to shoot her! While browsing, I saw this photoshoot, and in the first picture, the brothers are wearing ties from my company, The Matching Tie Guy. I am wondering if you would sell us the right to use that picture in advertising? Obviously we would need the Mom’s permission too…but I bet she would be pretty excited to have her gorgeous family as our poster children!
What a sweet little dolly! I love watching mommies of brand new baby girls, who already have a few boys. Girls are so fun with all of their accessories and ruffles and fluff! Meet beautiful Avery!
